Peter Baily
Peter Baily has been working as an executive coach for six years through his company, Because It’s There. And seeing many of the world’s challenges through NGOs and Charities including Friends of the Earth, Save the children, Greengrants, MSF and Equal Access.
Prior to coaching, he worked in advertising at O&M Hong Kong for 8 years; and then in marketing, first as Marketing Director of an internet superstore, bigsave.com. And then as Marketing Director for Crussh Juice Bars in London.
When he wasn’t selling smoothies or dishing out soup, Peter was able to enrich his life in the great outdoor through mountaineering and rock climbing. Traveling to many parts of the world, he came face-to-face with diverse cultures, vastly different values and environments at different stages of transition.
Having had his eyes opened by life experiences, he now believes passionately in working with children on the subject “Leadership in Sustainability”. Leadership because, he believes, we need to be brave enough to look at things in new ways and Sustainability because we cannot keep living, behaving and working as if we have infinite resources on a planet of finite resources.
